The Crowd is everyone who spots great things out in the world and shares them on CrowdFinds. Post what you find. Every time someone unlocks your Find, you earn a Crowd Bonus of 70% of the claim fee.
You post Finds from the CrowdFinds phone app, so it can confirm you're there.

You walk past treasures every week: a solid-wood dresser at the thrift store, a designer lamp in the clearance section, a pawn-shop find nobody's noticed. Until now, there was no easy way to get paid for knowing where they are.
Your Crowd Bonus
The better the treasure, the bigger the bonus.
The suggested claim fee is 10% of the item's estimated value, between $3 and $25. Your Crowd Bonus is 70% of it.

Each Find can be unlocked by one Buyer. Crowd Bonuses are paid out to your bank account through Stripe.
Posting a Find
Under a minute from spotted to posted.

Snap it where it is
Take a photo on the spot. The app fills in a title, category, condition and estimated value for you to check.

Check the details
Fix anything that's off, add notes like the aisle or section, and confirm the claim fee. We suggest 10% of the estimated value.

Post it to the Crowd
Buyers nearby see your photo and a general area. Only the Buyer who pays sees the exact spot and your notes.
Finds stay up for 24 hours (48 hours for furniture). You can extend a Find once, or mark it unavailable if it sells.
When you get paid
Your Crowd Bonus is held until pickup.
When a Buyer unlocks your Find, your 70% is held for up to 2 hours so Buyers can trust what they unlock.

Only post items that are in the store right now, and mark a Find unavailable as soon as you see it's gone.

What makes a treasure
Buyers unlock Finds that are worth the trip. These get unlocked most.
- Furniture and big pieces people plan a trip for
- A real deal compared with the usual price
- Things with no online listing: thrift, consignment, pawn, off-price
- A clear, well-lit photo of one specific item
- Honest condition, including flaws
- Notes that save time, like the aisle, section or tag color
Find Requests
Get paid to find what people already want.
Buyers put the Crowd to work with Find Requests. When someone near you asks for something, you get an alert with the item, their budget and the claim fee they'll pay.
Spot a match? Attach your Find to the request and the Buyer is notified right away. Already posted something that fits? We match it to open requests automatically, so your Find reaches the Buyer even if you never saw the request.
Crowd rules
Keep it real. Keep it in the app.
Buyers trust the Crowd because every Crowdmember follows these rules. Breaking them can get Finds removed, Crowd Bonuses cancelled or your account closed. The full rules are in our Terms of Service.
- Post from where the item is. The app checks your location and photo.
- Describe items honestly. No fake, duplicate or recycled Finds.
- Follow store rules and the law. No trespassing, no blocking aisles.
- No weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, adult items, recalled or stolen goods.
- Don't hide, hold or move items to keep them for a Buyer.
- Keep deals in the app. Never sell a Find's location anywhere else.
